Choir

This is our beginner level choir for all 9th graders. It is a non-auditioned choir in the fall semester during 4th block. No previous choir experience is required to take this class. This choir performs at two concerts in the fall.

This is our intermediate level choir for 10th-12th graders.  It is a non-auditioned choir in the spring semester each year. Previous choir experience IS required to take this class. This choir performs at the JB Lyle Choral Festival as well as two concerts in our SDHS Auditorium in the spring. This group also performs at the Dollywood Choral Festival in May. 

This is our premier, top auditioned choir. It is a year round honors course. This ensemble performs at four choir concerts throughout the school year, graduation, goes on a caroling field trip to all feeder schools, and has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Every year we go on a choir retreat in August to get to know each other and get a head start on learning our music for the year. SDHS Singers will travel to Washington DC to perform in our Nation's Capital in March 2025.
